GoCal for Google Calendar™ with Synchronization App Reviews

I have a brand new iPhone 4s and this app runs dog slow on it. Its a shame because I love the views it offers. One of the most elegant interfaces Ive ever seen on a calendar. But, it shouldnt take 5 seconds for me to go from viewing November to viewing December. Another thing they could improve is the color of the app. Butterscotch isnt attractive.

Please please put in the week days while setting dates. Please!

In my 64G iPhone 4S every time I try to select the default calendar it crashes. In addition I have many calendars that are considered system calendars. In all other programs like this I can select which to display. In this program I am not given the ability to select at all, only change colors or name. Until this is fixed I am deleting and giving a single star because it is so expensive and so worthless for me.

I have issues with this calendar and should gave researched it before I bought it. The DAY setting doesnt allow me to see my schedule easily: appointments overlap, hiding them. It takes too long for new screens to load and Im currently in DAY mode and cant figure out how to get back to WEEK. *The main menu has disappeared. When I add a new appointment but want to change the date, it doesnt show me the day of the week, only the date. I may continue to search for a better calendar app and learn a valuable lesson about clicking "buy" before researching.

At last! An oasis in the desert of calendar apps: the repeating event which ties to the Day of the Week is solved. I can now set a recurring event on a "4th Monday" for example, and it works. Good job!

So when I say "alert" for the reminder on an event, this app does not actually do it. Its not listed in the notification center settings and there are no push capabilities. The only time it has alerted me was when I made a new event through the app and had the app open for testing. Worthless if it cant send a push message without me having to go in and change the alert to say SMS specifically, which is not the default setting on google calendars as you know. Overall have not been impressed with the UI and layout - as another reviewer said, the Day view is worthless. You cant read your events.

The syncing between Google and the iPhone seem very slow - even when Im hooked up through my home WiFi. It takes about a minute or so to sync. Then it takes another 10 -20 secs to update the page display with the new data. It is very frustrating, because I think the GoCal is current, when in fact, it is still updating. It is also very slow as I try to check future dates, and want to page forward.

no alert, no push notification for events, definitely over-priced

The one star i gave to give because it wont let me give 0 stars. The recurring event dates dont even save to the dates you entered. This is a total waste of money. Great look and the idea is there but it needs fine tuning and revamp of structure. I am very disappointed. Get it together first before you offer it to the public. Smh.

First off, I was surprised to see so many reviews of it being slow as to be honest I love how it dosent seem to take much time to load, I can easily create events with reminders, and it even has a week view(not shown in pics) that appears in landscape mode. About the only downside, I have a little trouble telling the difference between my GFs schedule and my schedule at times. Improve that one little aspect and I believe the app is great.

There is a lot of negative reviews for this app and Im not sure why. I dont use google calendar, even though thats what this app is made for. I use iCalendar and the sync was painless and fast. I have tried many different calendar apps, free and paid ones and this is by far the best one Ive come across.

Its a gorgeous calendar app but youve got to wait forever for each month to load up... And Im on Wifi right now. Many reviews here are stating the same kind of problems with the this apps loading bugs.

Still waiting for my events to load... It synced once and I was able to view my events. Now I have nothing... Bummer.
